FTO SPRING LUNCHEON FOR JONES STAFF!
Thanks to your support of the FTO, we provided lunch for our teachers and staff Wednesday 3/29! Thank you to the many parents, families, and room volunteers who contributed delicious dishes like sandwiches, salads, fruits and desserts to treat our hard-working staff before Spring Break!
Save the Date: The Jones Jam 1st Annual Dance-a-thon!
More info will be coming to all families after Spring Break! After students dance, we will end the day with a fun showcase of dance traditions from around the world, including performances from LEAF visiting teaching artist, master drummer ADAMA DEMBELE from the Ivory Coast, Danza Azteca, indigenous dance troupe from Mexico, and other surprises!
The 2 fundraisers we host each year (Heroes Campaign in the fall and the Spring fundraiser in April) are the primary means to support all the various FTO initiatives, including classroom supplies, teacher projects, playground equipment, beautification, staff luncheons, teacher treats such as on-site chair massages, our Jones musical performance, community dinners & socials, the Jones Spring Fling, and MORE!

IBJ Read Together Day Celebrated Reading & Supported Our Library!
Our students, K-5, came together on Tuesday 3/28, to celebrate the IBJ Read Together Day! This event included wearing pajamas and getting comfy for independent reading and fun read-alouds with special guests to celebrate our love of reading across Jones Tuesday morning! This event also raised money to purchase new books for our library, through the support of our generous community sponsors (Rebecca Sandoval, State Farm & Joel Adams Assoc)! Their contributions will go directly towards the purchase of lots of great new books for the IBJ library! The FTO is grateful to these local businesses!
Thank You For Supporting the Jones FTO!
