Great Big Thank You's!!
From Gus and Ella
A Note From Ella
Thank you for the money. I will spend it wisely. I am so happy that I got it and I love it. I don't know what I want to buy. I have to keep some of it in the bank but I'll let you know what I buy with the part I get to spend.
I got an iPad mini for Christmas and a bunch of iTunes cards. I think this was the best Christmas ever. I heard you got an iPhone 5. Lucky!!! I'm never going to get a phone.
I got some money for Christmas from my Memaw and Santa too. I bought a pair of purple high tops for my hip hop class with the money. I also bought a pair of gold hoop earrings.
How was your Christmas? Did you get Pat a good present?
We also got snow on Christmas day at Grammy and PopPop's!!!! It snowed on Christmas day. Can you believe that?
Asa and I made snowmen and we also decorated gingerbread houses. When we finished we took them outside and smashed them to pieces just for fun. Well we made the gingerbread houses at Christmas and smashed them later before we went home. (We do that every year since the houses can't go back with us and Grammy doesn't need them. It's fun.)
Well, I've gotta go.
A Note from Gus
Thank you for the money. I will be using it for college-well, not all of it! I don't know what I want to do with the money that I get to spend. I was going to buy myself an iTouch 5 but since I got the iPad for Christmas, I don't think I will be doing that.
My Christmas was great. I wasn't expecting the iPad and it was a big surprise that I like a lot. How was your Christmas? Did you get everything you wanted?
I also got a Poker set from Santa. I made Momma and Daddy play with me and I can say that I beat both of my parents single-handedly.
Did Pat have to make a million desserts? I miss her fudge.
Well, that's about all I have to say.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Some Pics From Christmas
A Note From Us
The kids all had a fantastic Christmas. Chloe, Brady, and Asa got iPads and Gus and Ella got mini iPads. Chloe and Brady were sick with colds so we all had to keep our distance while unwrapping and playing around.
The kids opened the big box again this year and Brady found the Christmas panties. He helped design a scavenger hunt for the others to follow and it ended with everyone in the living room sucking on their thumbs like babies-very silly!
We didn't add the packing peanuts this year since Chloe and Brady weren't well. Everyone agreed that it may be time to stop adding the peanuts because they liked not having to clean up the mess.
We had Mexican food as our dinner this year. We had to decide between Mexican and Italian but Mexican won out.
It was a white Christmas. No one could believe the snow! We got about 2 inches but the roads were okay the next day when we left for Round Rock. The kids were funny because we didn't have scarves, heavy jackets, or gloves. Daddy had to dig out all of his cammo for the kids to wear and leave all over the house.
We missed you guys but know you were having a blast celebrating with Pat's family. We hope to see you next summer.
Much love and Happy New Year's to you both!!
