The edit is everything and a better understanding of assets here will make you a more effective editor when it comes to managing time and client expectations.

10.45 - 11 - Preparing for the Edit
Now you have assets in an understandable arrangement, it’s time to get ready to edit.
There are two ways to approach this.
- Transcribed footage and interviews
- Untranscribed footage and interviews
11 - 11.30 - Preparing the Time Line
The 'preparing for the edit' will require a time line to be prepared and this starting point and how well you managed it, will dictate how the edit pans out.

Cost
£40 per person. Concessions available for group bookings (5 or more) and for students with valid student ID card (£30 per person)

Terms and Conditions
Bookings:
All booking and seminar information is confirmed by email to the email address provided when the booking is made. It is the responsibility of the recipient of the email to ensure that the attendees are informed.
Payment:
A VAT invoice will be raised and sent at the time of booking. Payment becomes due at the time of booking. We accept payments by credit/debit card, bank transfer or cheque.
Cancellations:
Should an attendee be unable to attend, a substitute participant is always welcome.We do not accept cancellations within three weeks of the start date of the seminar. Due to a high demand for our seminars and fairness to all our customers, we reserve the right to cancel any unpaid bookings. Cancellations made more than 3 weeks in advance of the seminar incur £15 administration charge.
Venues:
We reserve the right to change the venue where it does not complement our seminar or will detract from your experience. We will contact you prior to the seminar to confirm the new venue details.
Quality:
We reserve the right to change seminar details where circumstances make this necessary or when it is considered that the changes will enhance the presentation.
