OSS is heading to Nationals, and we need your help to get us there!
We are proud to announce that the Orlando Science Middle School Science Olympiad Team is heading to Nationals this May to represent the state of Florida. After taking home a 1st place prize at the State Competition, held at the University of Central Florida, their sights are now set on the National Competition in Ithaca, New York.
In order to make this dream a reality, the school is looking for dedicated individuals interested in "Sponsoring a Student." The sponsorship program will assist in costs associated with the travel, accommodations, and additional necessities for the team of 15.
Donations and sponsorship benefit details can be found through the links below. All donation processing will be made through Orlando Science’s School Pay Account. Please feel free to review our fundraising site at your convenience. The deadline for donation will be Friday, May 31st.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school with your inquiries at OSMSEnrollment@orlandoscience.org.

Teachers pay Teachers
Many of our teachers use Teachers Pay Teachers for engaging and inquiry-based lessons. There is a schoolwide Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) account. Parents and community members may donate to the TpT fund by sending in TpT gift cards. Gift cards can be purchased online: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Gift-Card. Parents can send in a gift card for their teacher or for the whole school account.

Gajus- I can’t believe the year is already just about over! I have enjoyed teaching your children this year and I hope they enjoyed the year as well. Students in Pre-Algebra have been working on Algebra I skills to help them prepare for next year. Students taking 7th grade math have been working to finish the 7th grade math standards to be ready for 8th grade math next year. I want to wish everyone a fabulous summer and good luck for the future!

Right now, we are working on our final project: a puppet show. Students are creating a stage, making puppets, and an entire Spanish conversation/script for their puppet show. They will be performing this week and I will post pictures in our next Newsletter.
