If you have any questions about how to do this please see me.
SCHOOL CLIMATE- SURVEY
Your Voice Counts Survey- interesting results on some questions.
Data will be shared at the Staff Meeting.
Climate Team will assess and look at how to address next year.
PROJECT COMPLETE
Approximately 70 students were referred to project complete. Many got caught up on missing work.
Happening again in June.
Please use this program for students who will benefit the most by completing work. Ie: pass/ fail
Next year: may have to change some of the requirements of the program to make it most beneficial
Classroom teacher should still have primary responsibility for student's success
HARVARD- GLOBALIZATION- Donna and Kimberley
They shared some of the ideas that came up through the conference.
impact with IBT
Global education works well with IBT and our creed
Need to upgrade the I in our program.
Conversations, planning and PD available for those interested in innovation
It is getting harder to travel with students and give them international exposure, therefore we have to find ways to bring the world to North Park.
ATTENDANCE, ASSIGNMENTS etc.- Remain vigilant
Although we are tired and it is approaching June, it is very important to remain vigilant with expectations. Attendance and completion of assignments, lates and behaviour need to remain a priority. Stay visible in hallways, speak to students who are falling behind, call home etc.
PRINTING
increased print credit for this semester for Special Ed. students.
Will be increased for next year for everyone.
???? Are there ways to decrease need for students to print work? D2L, turnitin, Office 365???
PRANKS- END OF YEAR
TIMETABLING
Starting to call students regarding conflicts. Please excuse interruptions.
No teachers have been assigned to courses at this time to avoid "teacher" shopping. Although we are pretty sure what we will be teaching next year ;)
