Scariest Ride EVER!
How I overcame.
I was so excited, yet so scared! I had never done anything so excitingly terrifiying before. My family and I had gone to Concord Motor Speedway at Concord Mills one evening to, you know ,do something different. It was cold, but duh. I really wish I had changed my mind. After I got in, I felt like puking. Before the start, I whispered a little prayer of mercy that I make it out alive. Seriously speaking. "Go"! The guy yelled! I screamed and so did my mom. I took it slow at first, and then all of a sudden, I felt adventurous. I wanted to feel the wind in my face and hair. So I sped up, little by little, going faster and faster and even faster! The feeling was magnificent! Then it happened. I was busy yelling (embarrassingly loud) at a guy in front of me. I wasn't paying attention to where or how I was turning, and I hit the rail. My left hand twisted. I screamed out in pain! I wanted to kick the guy in front of me. As I sat there for what seemed like years, I hit myself as hot tears flowed down my cheeks. "Daddy help me"! I cried out. Suddenly, it hit me. If only I listened to my parents, I wouldn't be in this embarrassing situation. Now I'm stuck my dad was waving his hands everywhere, trying to get my attention, and my mom was simply standing there with a blank face. My cousin on the other hand, was literally on his knees laughing. I finally got help and got out to the side when I felt it. The extreme sharp pain in my left arm. I'm not kidding when I tell you I started to yell out that I was dying. And even when I was doing that my cousin was still laughing. I was rushed to the ER and was there for 6 painfully long hours. But in all that, I learned that even though I try something new, I won't always be successful the first time, but if I keep trying, eventually I'll get the hang of it.
That's what I looked like when I got in.
This what I kinda what I looked like when I got a little braver.
And that's what I looked like when I totally let loose!
