BW Update - November 22, 2022
Message from Ana C. Riley, Superintendent of Schools
To the Bristol Warren Regional School District community,
I wanted to take this opportunity to express how grateful I am for all of the students, families and staff who make our district such a welcoming place for all. As we get ready to leave for the Thanksgiving holiday, it is important to acknowledge all the contributions made that make Bristol Warren so special.
First and foremost, we are grateful to have such enthusiastic students. From our youngest learners at our four elementary schools to those at the middle school and our high school students preparing to move on after graduation, it never ceases to impress me how lively and motivated they are, and how much they contribute to the fabric of our district.
This extends to the families of our district, whose support is so essential to our schools’ success. There is no substitute for having parents and guardians who are as engaged and involved as our families are.
Lastly, the staff and faculty of our schools go above and beyond each and every day to support the education of our students. This includes our custodial staff, support staff, coaches, School Resource Officers, food service workers, nurses, administrators and more, who all work together to create a district that supports students in such a variety of ways. And our teachers, who spend countless hours both directly instructing our students and working after hours, do so with passion, dedication and selflessness.
It is very easy to get bogged down in the daily operation of the district and its schools, but it is important to step back and appreciate all that goes into making Bristol Warren what it is. As we leave for Thanksgiving break I want to personally thank each of you for all you do, and I look forward to building on our successful year as we enter the holidays and beyond.
With our children in mind,
Superintendent of Schools
