Staffing Updates

With the 2020-2021 school year, there will be changes in our department.

Team Chairs

Beginning this year, we will have a Team Chair assigned to each building.

  • Elmwood

Kristie Barry-Ayres will continue in her role as Early Childhood Coordinator/Team Chair. However, she will support preschool through grade 3.

  • Shaw

Please join me in welcoming Stephanie Bazinet to the Shaw special education department. Stephanie comes to us from Hopedale. In Hopedale, she served as a Speech and Language Pathologist and was often called upon to chair special education Team meetings.

Christine Warren will continue to support the Jr./Sr. High School. Did you know that this will be her 24th year!?

Speech and Language Department

  • Elmwood

Please join me in welcoming Samantha Mansur. Samantha comes to us with nine years of experience as an SLP. She has worked in behavioral and residential settings, public schools, and most recently worked as an AAC specialist for a private consulting firm.

Lisa Farese will not be returning this year as she has acquired a position closer to her home. Please join me in wishing her the best of luck in her new district. We are seeking a replacement and hope to have things in order for the students' first day.

  • Shaw

Stephanie Hermann will be returning to the Shaw School.

Please join me in congratulating Nicole (Delisle) St. Amand. She and her husband welcomed a new baby girl, Ellie, this July. While she is enjoying her maternity leave, she will be supervising the SLPAs supporting our students. Nicole will also be available for meetings and testing. The SLP-As are Vicki Quinn and Kelly Bartlett.

Occupational Therapy

After 12 years, Laura Newhall has accepted a new role in Uxbridge. Please join me in wishing her the best.

Sarah McCausland, from French River, will be providing OT services to all students preschool-12. She will be supported by an assistant (COTA), Nancy Lareau.

Physical Therapy

Patricia (Trish) Cormack will continue to provide physical therapy services for the district.
