Flores Fitness Center Schedule
The Live Positively Fitness Center is free and open to the community. Located at Flores Elementary School, our gym is equipped with many machines for all your fitness needs.
We are happy to provide this free fitness opportunity however, we are not able to provide childcare. Please know the use of the gym is for adults over the age of 18. We appreciate your cooperation.

Volunteer Trainings
As the 2018-2019 School Year kicks-off, so does the need for volunteers. Volunteers are a valued asset to our district. Individuals wishing to volunteer on campuses and with student organizations must attend a Volunteer Training and complete a background check. The following Volunteer Trainings have been scheduled:
Monday, February 25th @ Noon
in the Central Office Conference Room located at 1000 N. Getty. For more information please contact Melissa Flores at mflores4642@uvaldecisd.net or by phone at 830-278-6655. Volunteers are asked to sign up for a training session by completing the Volunteer Training Sign Up Form at the below link:
New Field Trip Request App! - Travel Tracker
A new field trip bus scheduling program called the Travel Tracker is being implemented for all trips beginning Monday, January 21, 2019. The system is completely internet-based giving you access to the system at any time from a web browser. Teachers will now have the capability of entering their own field trip requests, which will not only eliminate paper but also will allow them to follow their field trip request through the approval process. Coaches will be able to ensure their buses for athletic contests have been scheduled, as they can view this information on a trip calendar. They will have visibility of all their trip requests immediately as well as a system-wide trip calendar. It also emails child nutrition contacts to notify them if they will be out of school over the lunch period, or if bagged lunches are needed.
At your earliest convenience, please register with the Travel Tracker application using the following link. Please note that the Travel Tracker link may also be located on the Uvalde CISD website.

Each user must register by entering your school email address to gain access to the system. Click on the link above and look for the link New to the App-Garden? New Registration to take new users to the registration tab. When your registration is submitted, you will receive an email which contains a link you must click to activate your registration. You should receive this email within 30 minutes of your registration. If you don't, please check your spam. Your email address will be your login.

Please watch your email for information about virtual online training for bookkeepers and users that will be responsible for approving trip requests.
To make the transition smooth, we have provided a link to our training video for teachers (found below) regarding how to request a trip as well as how to view your existing requests. If you feel you need additional training after watching the training video, please contact Carina Esparza in the Transportation Department by phone at 830-333-7003 or by email at cesparza9757@uvaldecisd.net.
