To be eligible students must have:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Dependent of military personnel
- 1st generation to earn Bachelor's Degree
- Minority
- Qualify for free/reduced lunch
- Have a disability
Priority will go to students with a GPA between 2.0-3.0 but is no longer a requirement.

Apply to Minds Matter
Minds Matter carefully selects exceptional students from low-income backgrounds. Students then spend 3 years working with volunteer mentors, writing coaches, SAT tutors & college advisors to navigate the path to college.
Eligibility:
- Apply as a 9th grade student
- Maintain strong overall GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Qualify for free/reduced lunch
- Committed to pursuing college education

PNCI Construction Trades Internship – Interested in the construction trades? Apply now for this PAID 8-week summer internship. Applicants must be current Juniors (Class of 2021) and enrolled in a construction-related CTE program at area high schools. NW Youth Corps Youth Community Program - DAY PROGRAM FOR AGES 15-18 - Youth Community Program is a non-residential, day program for 15 to 18 year olds. With the experience of field staff guiding them, participants complete service projects in their own community each day and return home at night. Crews meet at a designated site every morning and evening, Mon-Fri. Members spend an average of 6 hours per day working and one hour participating in an educational lesson, from which they earn high school credit and a $250/week stipend. During these 5 week sessions, participants learn new skills, challenge themselves, make new friends, and better their communities! Apply online or contact Nate Zantzinger.

Campaign Interns - Cascading Strategies, a political consulting firm currently operating on races across the Pacific Northwest, is now hiring Campaign Interns to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. All interns will be required to learn how to use VAN/Votebuilder, set up and run virtual phone and text banks, and manage volunteers. Examples of intern campaign roles: Database Management, Social Media Research/Writing, Fundraising, Art & Design, Outreach and Community Engagement. All intern communication is conducted through Slack and video conference tools so that we are able to coordinate daily assignments with the whole team and work on a remote basis.
