CDT: Math
CDT will be conducted in homeroom with the homeroom teacher for half a day to ensure we get participation from all students. The afternoon will then have a shortened class schedule. One half day during the window will be ELA test and one half day will be math. The same schedule is being used as last Wednesday.

January 31 through February 16 make-up & new students benchmark during PLT (ELA)

Just a reminder that CDT participation is part of the teacher evaluation for the end of the year.
10% school wide 95% participation school wide (k-12) for all benchmark assessments
10% student participation by homeroom for CDT benchmark (Below is the breakdown to score 0-3 in the elective score part of the teacher evaluation)
95% to 100% – 3.0
90% to 94.9% – 2.5
80.0% to 89.9% – 2.0
70.0% to 79.9% – 1.5
60.0% to 69.9% – 1.0
59.0% and below – 0.5
Career Information Update:
Teach Like Pirate book study! (Optional)
The Book study will start the week of February 19th and run for 7 weeks, finishing before PSSAs. You will need to be able to devote a half hour to an hour weekly for seven weeks to complete asynchronous discussions and a few online discussions. The live online sessions will not be longer than a half hour or more than once a week. About 10 hours of Act 48 hours will be earned. Books will either be bought for you or purchased by you and then expensed.
