Principal's Message
Hello Families,
Thank you to our awesome PTA for a wonderful Holiday Movie Night! This was a FREE event sponsored by our PTA. Thank you to all the volunteers and families for attending!
As a reminder, our district uses an anonymous reporting tool called PSST World. Using PSST World, students and families can anonymously report any range of concerning behaviors and incidents that they have seen, heard, or experienced. When a report is made, a message is immediately sent to our safety team and site administrators for follow up.
Let's work together to keep our students safe.

Children with Cell Phones
We have an increasing number of students who have their own cell phones. Though phones can be handy for safety and communication, they can also be dangerous when your student views inappropriate material or uses the device to communicate in negative ways.
In order to protect your child and ensure their digital safety, consider monitoring your child's cell phone use. Teaching your child digital safety and monitoring them online can keep them safe and free from cyber bullying. We have reports that some students are on group text threads that alert at all hours of the night. Consider using the "do not disturb" feature, taking their phone overnight, or using parental controls to monitor their cell phone use.
We understand the need for a cell phone for safety reasons. If your child brings a phone to school, it must be powered off and given to the classroom teacher for safe keeping during the day. Each teacher has a designated location for storage and phones are returned at the end of the day. Cell phones should never be on or used during school hours. If your child needs to contact you during the school day, they may use a school phone.
