Mini Miner's Preschool Post

October 11, 2021

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Our team cannot thank each one of you enough for your patience, support, donations and encouragement. Thank you for reaching out to any of us when there are concerns, questions or anything else you wanted to share with us. I love being open and honest with our families and community!

Thank you for your patience with me as I was ill a couple of weeks ago and then absent for my son's stunning wedding. We are a truly blessed family and I am quite impressed with our extraordinary preschool team!

Please read through as there are some fun things coming up. I'll send a separate Preschool Post with pictures and updates of the impressive learning taking place here. Jut think it's still just the beginning of the school year and I can't wait to see the progress throughout the rest of the months.

Mask Updates

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your understanding and support these last several weeks.

Preschool has been having a mix of Covid positive cases, colds, tummy bugs and any other normal germmy (my new made up word!) bug for this age group however, our kids are getting better and returning. Our staff continue to test negative for Covid, but we are working on getting better as well from the other colds and stuff!

Currently, we'll continue to wear masks at school with the hopes of having masks as a choice for children. As we all continue to kick the bugs, this hope may come to fruition in the next few weeks. Cross your fingers.

I understand there are many different views on whether masks work, don't work, are healthy, are not healthy however, our goal as a staff is to do everything we can to keep our doors open for in-person learning. This includes masks. If public health allows us to keep classrooms open by wearing masks (on top of all the other precautions we are taking), then we do what is necessary.

Again, thank you for your patience, understanding and most of all sharing your concerns, questions and comments with me.

As always, please let me know if there is anything we can do for you!!

Safety First

As the weather comes in, please remember we care about your safety first.

For your Preschool children, if you are not comfortable driving in the weather, please don't worry about missing the day, coming in late or picking up early. I've lived up here for twenty years and there are days that driving terrifies me, so please do what is best for you and your family.

Please call to let us know if you need to alter your child's schedule. Thank You!!
