Student Committee
We are excited to announce that we have 25 students representing our building and participating in our Student Advisory Committee.
The Student Advisory Committee is a special group of students who will have the opportunity to meet once a month in the mornings before school to discuss various matters related to our school's policies, programs, and activities. This committee plays a vital role in providing valuable input, suggestions, and feedback to help improve the overall educational experience for our students.

Attendance Information
We understand that there is a lot of sickness this time of year. If your child is sick, please let the school know and talk with your teachers about possible work. Oregon law states that students are expected to maintain regular school attendance. Regular attendance helps students make academic gains, are less likely to fall behind, and are more likely to graduate on time.
Oregon Battle of the Books
It’s time to begin the 2023-24 Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) competition at CCMS!
For decades, OBOB has encouraged students of all ages to become dedicated readers in a fun and team-based setting. Students read books from a set list, form teams with their classmates, and battle head-to-head in trivia matches about the books. Students don't need to read all 16 books to participate. Start reading now to prepare for February school battles. See the librarian for more info and permission slips. Sign-up deadline Fri. Nov. 17th
Athletics Update
As Fall sports come to a close, I want to give a shout-out to the 240 Student-athletes who participated in Cross Country, Football, and volleyball.
Currently, we have nearly 100 boys participating in basketball at the start of the season. After Christmas Break, we will start Girls Basketball and Wrestling. Please work to get your paperwork completed and submitted.
