Spring 2020 College Coffee Hours
The NSHS School Counselors will be hosting three sessions of “ Virtual College Coffee Hour” for parents in the spring of 2020. Each session will take place as a Zoom meeting at 3 PM.
These sessions are intended to give parents about to go through the college search process an opportunity to virtually meet with school counselors and ask questions. We also welcome parents who have been through the process before to come and share their experiences with parents who have not been through the process. Topics will be discussed at each session and afterward, there will be time for questions. If you would like to attend, please join us on Zoom for each meeting.

New England Board of Higher Education Tuition Break
The New England Board of Higher Education Regional Student Program offers discounted tuition to New England Residents for a select group of majors.
In most cases, the regional tuition covers all four years of the program. For some majors, however, the regional tuition does not take effect until later in the program. When tuition is reduced from out-of-state to regional, merit scholarships are reduced to the corresponding regional scholarship amount.

NCAA Athletics Information
Take your first step to becoming an NCAA student-athlete at eligibilitycenter.org.
Choose from our two account types to get started:
1. Certification Account: You need to be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center to compete at an NCAA Division I or II school. You also need to be registered with a Certification Account before you can make official visits or sign a National Letter of Intent in Division I or II.
2. Profile Page: If you plan to compete at a Division III school or are currently unsure in which division you want to compete, create a Profile Page. If at any time you wish to pursue a Division I or II path, you will be able to transition to a Certification Account.
For Certification Accounts, please allow between 30 to 45 minutes to register completely. If you need to exit and come back at a later time, you can save and exit once your account or profile is created. Reference the Help section located in the top task bar at any time to answer your questions as you work through registration.
