Classroom News!
Life in Kindergarten hums along with plenty of good cheer as we approach the holiday season.
- We talked about the stillness outside in nature during Winter and the children created serene and beautiful winter tree paintings using watercolor, tape, and slat.
-Throughout the month we have focused on the celebration of light during the winter months and how many holidays celebrate light using candles, lanterns, and strings of lights. The class was inspired to make their own winter lanterns to shine during this holiday season.
-Perfecting our name writing has been an ongoing activity this week. The students practiced writing their first names by using different media such as pencils, iPad, chalk writing, and small crayons.

Gift in Honor of "Our" Children
Dear Kindergarten Families,
This season, we have made a donation to Save the Children Fund. in Washington, DC in honor of your precious children, the Kindergarten Class. Save the Children in the U.S and around the world, gives children a healthy start to life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, they are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. This organization does whatever it takes to save children, transforming their lives and the future we share.
We wish all of you a safe and happy holiday!
