Welcome to Conservancy Kids!

We are so excited to have you with us on this virtual journey of inquiry and place-based learning! Right now we may be social distancing, but we're all connected by the awesomeness of science. We're junior scientists, exploring the natural world, asking questions, and making discoveries. Join us for an adventure that will take you outdoors, around the house, and into the incredible Sonoran Desert. Welcome to Conservancy Kids! We're excited to see you!

Beyond the Sonoran Desert

We usually focus on the Sonoran Desert, but today we are excited to learn about the other three deserts found in Arizona. Stay tuned to hear more about our four Arizona deserts, what defines a desert, and why deserts are important.
Deserts in Arizona

What is a Desert?

Different types of deserts make up 1/3 of the Earth's land. At least 20% of the world's population live in these areas. That's a lot of land and a lot of people--deserts are important! Join Nicole and Taylor as they talk more about where you can find deserts and what it means to live in one.
