4TH GRADE

The 4th Grade Early Act Club Members presented what it is like to be a part of the club to the third graders this week. Many club members wrote speeches and shared what their experiences were like this year. The students did a FANTASTIC job speaking to their audience. Third graders going in to fourth grade will have the chance next year to join this service club.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Tawanka students are getting batting practice as they enjoy some fun in the sun on the field.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION SUMMER HOMEWORK

Go outside and play! Worried about the heat? Play earlier in the day or later in the day when it’s not as hot. Choose sun care products carefully. Many are made with toxic chemicals. Hats and clothing are the safest products to protect the skin from burning. We had an amazing school year in the gym at Tawanka. Have a safe and active summer. I look forward to seeing you next year. 4th Graders – Best of luck in middle school. Mr. Wright.

WIFFLE BALL ALL-STARS

Congratulations to our wiffle ball all-stars. Great job!!

ART FOR THE SKY

Our whole school participated in Art for the Sky. it was a 3 day event. This took many man hours to prepare the field for the final production. The jeans that were collected in our jean drive became the sky for the backdrop. Students and staff wore black, white or brown shirt, and we became the eagle.

A huge thank you to Mr. Dancer for all of his time and expertise in this unique experience. The final outcome is awesome!!
