The SOL Edition
Being Rested and Ready to Rock Is Our Goal
We've Got This!
The night before the test, a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast are the two best things they can do to be ready. As your children and I discussed on Friday, they can all read on a fourth grade level, it is the difference between reading to be done and taking their time to be sure they understand what is being asked of them in each question.
We are going to be taking some reading and math practice tests over the coming days, just to make sure the children are focused. However, you aren't going to see much homework this week. I have attached a link to the Virginia Department of Education SOL site. There are some practice sections for the students if they want to try more at home. We have been visiting these sites to practice with the tools and familiarize ourselves with what the tests will look like. Don't worry, they've got this!
