- Seniors will continue MCAP testing: Tuesday, December 12, 2023 LSN/Government,Wednesday December 13 2023 Algebra,Thursday, December 14, 2023 English 10. This is a graduation requirement. For questions, please follow-up with Ms. Kennon, Ms. Duffy, Ms. Brown.
Quarter 1 Honor Roll Ceremonies: Congratulations on your stellar academic achievement during the first quarter of school year 2023-2024. You are cordially invited to a ceremony in honor of your success to be held on December 14 in the Oxon Hill High School Auditorium according to the following schedule:
Grade 9 - 10am
Grade 10 - 1:30pm
Grade 11 - 3:00pm
Students may dress in business casual attire or otherwise should attend in full school uniform. Guests must present a photo ID to receive a visitor badge in the main office and may do so up to 30 minutes prior to the event. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your Professional School Counselor.
Senior Inauguration: The extraordinary class of 2024 will celebrate their commitment to ensuring that they fulfill their graduation requirements on Friday, December 15th at 10am. Each scholar may invite two family members. See specifics below.

Additional Updates
Please ensure that you have a pgcps issued chromebook and you bring it to school everyday. Assistance will be provided to students that need to reset their passwords during the lunch period.
ATTENDANCE AND GRADES MATTER
School attendance plays a major part in student achievement. Being chronically absent or missing 10% of the school year (about 18 days) for lawful or unlawful reasons can drastically affect a student’s academic success.
School achievement begins with regular attendance. Parents/guardians must ensure that all school-age children in their care are in school on time daily. Attendance must be taken every day by each teacher, the first 15 minutes of every class.
