Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!

From the Principal's Desk...

Greetings to you all! I hope you've enjoyed a restful and relaxing summer. At MHS we've been hard at work preparing for everyone to return, and we're ready to welcome all students on September 4th.

On the first day of school students may access the building starting at 7AM (see below); we start the day with Homeroom at 7:25AM where students will receive their schedules. Homeroom locations will be posted in the Main Lobby.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to the incoming Class of 2023 and to our transfer students. Freshmen and transfer students are invited to join us Thursday, August 29th for Open House from 12-3. We will convene in the Auditorium at 12pm to learn about schedules and lunches, and a student panel will speak about activities and student life at MHS. Freshmen and transfer students may pick up their schedules, and then spend time finding classrooms and learning the layout of the building.

I'm looking forward to a fantastic year and to seeing you all. Enjoy the upcoming Labor Day weekend!

Best regards,

Mary Watkins

Update to Building Supervision Hours

In order to better ensure the safety of all students and staff by more closely regulating who accesses the building before and after school hours, school-wide building supervision for students will begin promptly at 7AM and end at 3PM.

Please provision for your child to arrive at school no earlier than 7AM since they will not have access to the building.

Thank you for observing these hours as we work to reduce risk and increase safety for all.
