And....We Did It!
The 2018-2019 is almost in the books! This has been a phenomenal year, and we hope our "Lions" enjoyed their school year to the fullest extent!!!
We would like to communicate with our LPS families about upcoming staff changes. We wish the following staff members well as they embark on new challenges and adventures: Mr. Holl, Mr. Geise, Ms. Waggoner, Mr. Petersen, Ms. Sutter, Mr. Houfek, and Mr. White. We thank you for your years of service and wish you well on your new endeavor(s). Just remember you are always welcome at LPS and you will be missed!
In addition, the Louisville Public School district would like to wish our families a wonderful upcoming summer! For our families who will be leaving LPS, we wish you well on your new journey! For our returning LPS families, we look forward to kicking off the 2019-2020 school year on Thursday, August 15, 2019!!

Exciting News -- LPS will be an ACT Testing Site
Louisville Public School district will be a testing site for students who are interested in taking the ACT and in grades 10th, 11th, or 12th grade beginning next school year (2019-2020).
As a testing site, individuals who have registered and paid will be able to take the ACT at Louisville Public School.
Here are the two ACT testing dates -
Fall, 2019: Offered to students grades 10, 11, 12
Tuesday, October 1, 2019 (Initial)
Tuesday, October 15, 2019 (Makeup)
Late Spring 2020: Offered to students in grades 10 and 12 ONLY since 11th grade will be taking the NSCAS-ACT on April 7, 2020
Tuesday, March 24, 2020 (Initial)
Tuesday, April 7, 2020 (Makeup)
**More information will be shared once the 2019-2020 school year begins.

NEED ACCESS TO THE WEIGHT ROOM?
SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND DELAYS
Louisville Public School will use an automated system to notify all families of emergencies, special events, or weather based closings. Additionally, in most cases school closings due to weather will be released and posted through selected Omaha and Lincoln media sources.
If in question, Louisville families should contact their respective school offices and make certain that all contact numbers and family information is updated for the 2018-2019 school year.
