Congratulations to Jesse Barr for placing 2nd in Budget Challenge in Ms. Gardner's Financial Management Class. Budget Challenge is a 10 week online simulation that teaches students how to budget, contribute to a 401K, use credit cards wisely, pay bills on time, and much more. Thank you very much to H & R Block in Marine City for sponsoring a Chromebook each year and always supporting the Business Education classes at Marine City High School.

Hands on in Biology
In Biology class, students were learning about the cell cycle by getting some hands-on experience using microscopes. Students worked in pairs to find cells that represented each phase of the cycle. This is part of our larger study into cancer. The students were examining healthy cell division so they could compare it to what tumor cells look like, thereby allowing them to make comparisons and learn more about what the causes of cancer are.
