Instructional Coaches' Network

Participants can/will:
- Articulate the importance of self-efficacy and teacher collective efficacy for advancing teaching and learning.
- Utilize a coaching tool to support growth in teacher efficacy that impacts learning.
- Learn from each other’s successes and challenges to advance your coaching practices and resolve challenges.
Teacher Leader & Administrator Network
12:15-3 p.m. April 17

Outcomes:
Literacy: 12:15-3:00
Participants can/will coach around the literacy shifts with a focus on reading, writing and speaking grounded in evidence from the text.
Math: 12:15-3:00
Participants can/will:
- Understand that in a rich mathematical class, students engage in content and the 8 Standards of Mathematical Practices.
- Understand that the 8 Standards of Mathematical Practices are the critical student moves to building conceptual and procedural understanding.
- Explore the 8 Teaching Practices that teachers engage in to help their students uncover and discover mathematics through analyzing a classroom script as students solve problems.
- Utilize new learning when coaching teachers toward strong pedagogy in any math classroom.
Technology: 12:15-3:00
Participants can/will co-plan and support teachers in incorporating Iowa Core 21st Century Technology Literacy Skills with student learning goals and selecting the technologies that best enhance the learning.
