FAFSA Support for Seniors
The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) will be hosting FREE Cash for College webinars for students and parents in both Spanish and English. The bilingual
events are scheduled for Thursday, January 21 and Monday, February 22 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. (see attached).
Students and families will learn about the FAFSA and the CA Dream Act application and get their questions answered via the Cash for College hotline. Interested students and parents can register for workshops by following this link, https://bit.ly/38AgyrT. Once registered, please note that the webinar will be structured in the following way:
1. Financial Aid Applications Overview: ~40-60 minutes
2. Opportunity for attendees to call our toll-free number for assistance: 1.5 hours
Additionally, below is the CSAC Cash for College workshop calendar for the remainder of the next few months:

- Saturday, January 30, 2021 - 10:00am-12:30pm

ACE Academy Update!
Top 50 competition started in November. Our Seniors (Site 13) have progressed from the Top 200 to the Top 150 and are working their way to the Top 100 next! This is a National Contest.
Our teams also competed in the West Regional Trade Show on January 21. Both our Seniors (Site 13) and Juniors (Forked Food Trucks) participated.
We are really proud of the work or our students and appreciate the commitment of our ACE teachers Derek, Tom, Renee, Brooks, Carolyn and David.
