Popular Phones of the 2000's
This phone was extremely popular in the 2000's and most people who were old enough to handle a phone in 2000 remember having one of these. It was the "Nokia 3310, 8260." This phone, often being described as 'indestructible", was good for all ages.

Color Screens - 2001
The "Ericsson T38" was one of the first phones to allow colored screens, this was a breakthrough in cellphone technology. Almost every phone after this one used color screen technology, because it was so popular.

Headphone Capabilities - 2002
Extra capabilities began being available around 2002, and one of the first phones to offer this was the "BlackBerry 5810." Some examples are a hands-free headset and a headphone jack.

The first camera phone was called the "Sanyo SCP - 5200."This idea got rid of the need for a digital camera AND a phone. It's very convenient and everyone loved the new idea of having an all-in-one system.

Global Roaming - 2004
The "Nokia 6630" was the first cellphone to allow global roaming, and it was extremely popular. Global roaming allows you to make or receive calls or messages in many countries around the world.

Windows OS - 2005
The "HTC Universal" was very popular for it included Windows OS, which was unheard of and it gained fame quickly. Now most phones also carry Windows or something similar.
Stylish Devices - 2006
As phones progressed further, the need for a sleek, unique phone became more prominent. The "LG Chocolate" is a great example of a cool, one-of-a-kind that had a very pleasing appearance.
The World of iPhones - 2007
No phone has done as well as Apple iPhones are doing today. The sleek design has swept the nation and is still extremely popular now.
iPhone 4S - 2012
Maybe the most popular iPhone, the 4S has done extremely well on the market. The cellphone has all-in-one capabilities and many people of today have or want one.

The iPhone 53 is the most well-known NEW phone on the market right now, and many want it for its simple and colorful design. It was released September 10th, 2013 and is still doing very well.
