CCUSD Live Scan Update
Due to an overwhelming number of people showing up for Live Scans, we can no longer take walk-ins. EVERYONE must make an appointment going forward. Please ensure your staff are providing them the attached Live Scan Request Form. Other versions of the form will not be accepted. Many are showing up with no forms at all.
Also, some parent volunteers are being turned away due to poor fingerprint quality. There is nothing I can do about the quality of their fingers. The Live Scan system rejects poor quality prints and it cannot be manually overridden. Most, if not all of the poor quality prints are due to scars, cracked skin, cuts, excessively dry skin, or other abnormalities.
If their prints are being rejected by our system, I am advising them they can try an outside Live Scan provider. Providers may use other types of scanners that may or may not be able to scan through the above listed finger issues.
