Student Focused-World Class
Word for the Warrior...
Hello Warriors,
We have made it through two weeks of school and we are off to a great start! The first weeks of school are often the most tiring and time consuming because it takes time and effort to set up procedures and routines. It takes time to support our students in meeting our high academic, social and behavioral expectations.
Thank you for all of your work in mentoring our students. Our work in supporting students with Academics, Smart Goals, Red Boot meetings, Tribe Time support and Clubs are all time consuming, but worth it when we think about how much support and encouragment this will provide our kids!
Our work is hard, but it matters. YOU matter. It's easy to be inspired during the summer and during convocation...it's vital to remember the importance of our work NOW. Sevier becomes a stronger and better school each day as we grow together and as we learn more about how we can better support our kids!
THANK YOU for embracing change. Thank you for trusting each other. Thank you for tackling our hard work... because we are doing the RIGHT work. Thank you for being marigolds to those around you as you serve as positive supports to our Warrior family!
The video below is an OUTSTANDING dose of inspiration! I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch. You will be glad you did!
You ARE changing the world. Don't lose heart. Know that we will face sharks. Face your sharks with confidence and be ready to punch them in squarely in the face! Measure those around you by the size of their HEART and nothing else. Remember that we are in this together...when times get tough, lets join together in song and hope until the dawn comes! It always does! Our work matters to our students. You are changing THEIR world and ours.
Proud to be a Warrior,
Holly

Shoes for Kids
Teachers,
I am working on a partnership with Fleet Feet Sports to supply shoes for those students who are in need. If you know of a student who you think needs a pair, please let me know. You can either send the student to me or just send me the size of the shoe needed. Thanks!

Roebke's Reminders...
1. Those who have morning duty, it is important that you are in your duty locations by the scheduled time. Some are scheduled for 7:00, others for 7:15. Please make sure you are at your assigned location by that time. This is a liability issue.
2. If you have a first period, please make sure you are at your door or in your room when you have students in your room. If you are going to be away from your room, you need to have your students lined up in the hall where they can be supervised. Again, this is a liability issues.
3. Sub plans and rosters need to be prepared in advance in case of an unexpected absence. Please include your Tribe Time and Club Time rosters (and indicate which days go with which roster) so that a sub can easily locate who should be in your class. This becomes especially important if we are in an emergency situation.
4. Morning Math Tutoring (Tue-Fri) in the Wellness Room. Afternoon Homework Help (Mon-Fri) in the Library (we are working on a bus, but transportation is still getting bus routes settled first…this may be a few more weeks).
5. Thursday Tribe Time Attendance for music groups – Students should report to the music group and not their regular Tribe Time teacher. You will not enter attendance for these students, the music teachers will send this to the office.
6. Locker spreadsheet – please remember to enter you locker information into the Google Form. https://docs.google.com/a/k12k.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSffhrTQn2P__nzEJynZVS0aTgTC3JKSifgalm-JSWPwXGnpLw/viewform
