VALEDICTORIAN: Katherine Jacobson

Katherine plans to attend ASU and pursue a Bachelor's degree in engineering. She has been accepted to their chemical engineering program and to the Barrett Honor College with a tuition scholarship.

SALUTATORIAN: Levi Tuckfield

Levi will be leaving in August to Brazil to serve a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Upon return, he plans to attend BYU to major in kinesiology and minor in business. He will then look to go to medical school to reach his goal of starting his own Sports Medicine practice. His ultimate goal would be to work with a major sports team, but is ready to take on what life offers.

May 20th (1st, 3rd, 5th period)

May 21st (2nd, 4th, 6th period)

**SENIORS - remember to bring your Cap & Gown for ceremony after dinner.

Graduation Practice: MONDAY - MAY 24th


  • 6:30 PM - SENIORS ARRIVE to Large Gym to line up
  • 6:45 PM - Begin March to Coyote Stadium for practice


*WRISTBANDS will be distributed to Graduates at the conclusion of practice

GRADUATION PRACTICE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL GRADUATING SENIORS

FEES

Any Senior that owes fees will not receive a diploma.

Fees must be taken care of by Tuesday, May 25th.

CHS Bookstore is open Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 2:45 pm.

Fees can also be paid online (link below)

ONLINE PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY FRIDAY MAY 21st.

Seniors must complete their required 22 credits in order to participate in the graduation ceremony ALL ONLINE transcripts must have been received by May 1st

ATTENDING GRADUATION

Due to the current circumstances, we are limiting guests to 6 per graduating senior. Wristbands will be given to seniors at graduation practice. All attendees must enter the stadium at the main entrance. All in attendance must be wearing a wristband, including children. Masks and social distancing are encouraged, but at the discretion of the individual.

For the consideration of others, please DO NOT bring airhorns, noisemakers or balloons.

Graduation Ceremony Parking

There will be multiple options available for families to park near CHS campus. There will be CHS staff members patrolling in golf carts for those that need assistance to the stadium. Please be aware of traffic control, have patience, especially when exiting the area and as always be safe.

  • BOYS - Dress slack with dress shirt and tie


*NO Jeans, shorts, flip flops or tennis shoes

GRADUATION CAPS and GOWNS MAY NOT BE DECORATED IN ANY MANNER

Standard issued TASSEL is the only tassel that will be permitted.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

Wednesday May 26th 7:00 PM


  • SENIORS must be in Gym by 6:15 PM
  • SENIORS, must carry cap and gown to gym - do not wear them.
  • DO NOT bring any other personal items into the gym, it will not be secure during ceremony

CAPTURING THE MEMORY

Lou Coopey Photography will be at our graduation ceremony taking pictures of all Graduates when they receive their diplomas. These photographs can be purchased on Lou Coopey's website: www.loucoopey.com by clicking on event photos. Proofs will be available to view about 1 week after graduation

GRADUATION/SENIORS Q & A

I think I earned a cord, Where do I get it? Cords are given out by the club sponsor or staff member that is over the specific group. There will be a staff member with unaccounted for cords in the gym Wednesday before graduation begins.

Will extra wristbands be available? At this time, No. All seniors will be given 6 wristbands. Seniors that do not need all six can share or distribute them as they wish.

Are Seniors getting yard signs this year? YES! The signs have been ordered and will be distributed as soon as they arrive.

When will seniors get their yearbooks? The delivery of this year's yearbook has been delayed due to printing delays. We are expecting them over the summer and will send an email to all students and parents with distribution days and times.
