Health & Wellness

Winter break is a great time to reflect, relax and renew. Let the NJUHSD Wellness Guide assist you in your journey!

Virtual Calming Room... A healthy escape for students, families and staff.

Recommended Reading for Parents... Many books to support caregivers as they support students.

Steps to Curb Social Media Use... For teens who are glued to social media, this 4-step plan can help.

Summer Enrichment Opportunities

While summer feels far off (especially with this winter storm), now is the time to start thinking about options and making plans. Students may use the summer months for any number of pursuits: working, volunteering, helping at home, traveling, taking a Sierra College class or participating in a summer program. Your school counselors have compiled a list opportunities so that you can explore your interests.

NJUHSD Local Scholarships - Due on Sunday @ 8:59pm!

Click here for application instructions and materials!

All local scholarship applications are due on 12/19/2021 by 8:59pm.

It's not too late! No matter where you are in the process, you CAN complete and submit your scholarship applications!
Contact Mrs. Melugin with questions or if you need help:

  • Remember to finish your FAFSA using the FAFSA Made Easier Tool in your Going Merry account. Then upload your SAR (student aid report) to your Going Merry account (Profile -> Documents -> Upload Document -> FAFSA SAR). Your FAFSA SAR is needed for consideration for some scholarships!
  • If you are applying to the William & Marian Ghidotti Academic or Agriculture Scholarships (we hope you will!) you need to complete this Ghidotti Foundation application and ATTACH it to your application. (Upload it to your Going Merry account and attach it to the application as a "Misc. Document.")
