There was a full house at Northside as we welcomed our new Head Football Coach, Ben Bailey. You could feel the excitement in the room as he spoke about his love of Faith, Family, and Football. It is and always will be...Great to be a Northside Eagle!!!
Save the date! Our District will host our annual Teacher Recruitment Fair on February 25, at Veterans High School. Teachers interested in employment with the district are invited to attend the job fair. Candidates are encouraged to arrive before the fair starts at 9:00 a.m. to allow time to check-in and attend a brief informational session in the auditorium. Northside High School has 2 STAR Students!! Congratulations to this year's STAR Students: Lillian Lin and Mathias Druhl. Lillian is pictured with her STAR teacher Patricia Ogletree and Mathias is pictured with his STAR teacher Sid Littlefield. The STAR student is the student who achieved the highest SAT score in the senior class. This year, at Northside, two students share the highest SAT score. These students then gets to choose a teacher who motivates and inspires them to be successful.
Mathias Druhl and Lillian Lin are also the County - Wide winners for Star Students which means they had the highest SAT scores of everyone in the Houston County School System.
NHS 2023 Football Signees
Congratulations to these 9 wonderful young men that have made the commitment to play football at the next level. We are Northside Proud!!!
Nathan Felch made 8th chair trumpet at GMEA All-State Band.
The competitive dance team placed 5th overall at their first GHSA competition in Lee County and 3rd overall at their second competition at Veterans High School
