IF you are still in need of any of your data reports such as the SRI, EDL, DRA, or the Math EOU assessment (the reports were emailed to you last week), you are welcome to ask Ms. Tunney for an additional copy. You can also click on the following below link to access some of the reports.
Data Chats
Jennie will schedule the data chats; please keep in mind that these two documents will be used for both reading and math. Note that we will discuss with your grade level partner the trends of performance and needs during a 45 minute conference.
Please have these two documents pre-filled prior to your data chat conference.
Data chat schedule TBD-please expect that schedule via Jennie.
Thank you,

Congratulations Julio!
Congratulations!
Dear Julio,
"We are coordinating an Attendance Cohort and you have been selected to participate as one of the top five attendance clerks in OUSD. Your site has a low chronic absenteeism rate and we would love to have you share your best practices of how you successfully engage with families at your site that support average daily attendance and academic achievement for our students!"

FC CONCERN: Community Assembly Teacher Sign-ups
Ms. Hom will be supporting the community assembly with the coordinating and creation of the power points for our Monday Community Assemblies. She will reach out to you.
In addition, after meeting with the Faculty Council, I recommend that assembly committee meet with Linda Tapia, Jennie, and Mazy (FC) to discuss the details of the latest FC notes and the sign-ups of teachers to lead assemblies and presenting HQSW. Nancy will help in scheduling a meeting with the committee, FC, and Beatrice to discuss the adjustments.
I must emphasize that we will work together to create cohesive systems, but SEED CANNOT/WILL NOT move away from the founding principles such as authentic quality student work.
Relevant information on HQSW
Reminder: Most teachers from last school year accepted the 20 hours of summer work & received the requirements of this work. Accepting this work represented our refinement towards rigorous student work.
FC recommended that student work presentations can continue in classrooms, where they can be properly differentiated. Nevertheless, I added that this work must be displayed in the bulletin boards or in the classrooms and changed at least once a month.
Thanks in advance for your working together to create cohesive systems.

This switch is ONLY for the date identified below. We are NOT asking you to give up your prep, simply to switch it with your collaboration day/date.
Your help & cooperation is greatly appreciated with such hectic coordination of calendars.
I thank you in advance for your flexibility & understanding.
Schedule:
Kinder: Met with Duffy!
1st: Wed Dec 3 3-4 pm (1st grade has not responded to Duffy)
2nd: Wed Dec 17 3-4 pm (working out scheduling)

4th: Wed Jan 21 3-4 pm (pending)

Your grade-level team will need to decide which expedition to prioritize and then share the expedition with Duffy at least two weeks in advance of your meeting.
Student Work Displays & Bulletin Boards
Please ensure that you keep your classroom student work & bulletin boards updated (at least once a month) with the CCSS & learning target visible. Also, do not forget to update the office bulletin board with your grade-level newsletter. You can give us a copy and the office staff can post them for you.
