Spicewood Elementary Teacher of the Year!
It is my honor to announce that kindergarten teacher, Amanda Guy has been named Spicewood Elementary Teacher of Year! Here are a few things her colleagues said about her!
"Amanda has been an amazing ray of sunshine throughout one of the hardest years imaginable. She is always full of energy, has a positive attitude, is flexible and is willing to try new things. She goes above and beyond to help her students and her fellow teachers. She is a great example of a caring, creative, and collaborative teacher who takes action- which is exactly what Spicewood is all about!"
"She is amazing with her students and goes the extra mile to love on them and teach them in such fun and engaging ways!"
Paraprofessional of The Year!
"Cindy has graciously and patiently worked through so many disruptions and policy changes this year. She is always pleasant to teachers, and she goes out of her way to find out information that teachers need to know. She has been an extra rock star this year!
"Cindy has worked extra this year to make sure students are in the classes they need to be, deal with attendance for virtual vs in-student, and has had to recreate and learn so many new things. She is always ready to help with questions and is so very organized. She is an amazing registrar and we are VERY lucky to have her. "
