Note from the Principal
Well, we are about to embark on what I hope is a week of rest and relaxation for our staff and students. In the world of education, teachers always know when a break is coming up. Students become restless, staff becomes weary and at Columbus Christian School, Satan has made his presence known this past week or so. But, we know that with God in our midst and His people praying, Satan cannot win!
Prayers go out to all of you who will be traveling this upcoming week and may you be blessed with God’s glory and grace.
Have a blessed weekend and Fall Break!
In Christ’s Love,
Matthew 5:16 says, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
The moon is made of craters, rocks and dust yet it puts itself in a place to reflect the light of the sun. Likewise, we need to put ourselves in a place to reflect the light of the Son so others will see Jesus in us.
Be a moon missionary!
Junior & Senior High Chapel
Mrs. Dailey, CCS Second grade teacher, gave the students a personal testimony about her life struggles and redemption. We are going to go through struggles in life. Instead of being bitter, be broken so God can heal you.

CCS Dress Code
The approved updated dress code is attached and will officially go into effect on October 16. The general philosophy and guidelines have remained the same and reflect a Christ-like image. Below are the two major changes.
- Collared shirts are no longer required.
- Shorts and skirts must meet the “fingertip” length on each student.
Thank you to the staff, students, parents and the board for providing input. It was very helpful and has allowed us to provide a dress code that meets the needs of CCS students, parents, staff and most importantly honors God.
