Welcome to the Second Grade!

August 8-12

This year is going to be extra exciting for your little second grader! We are going to be learning many new and exciting ideas! There may be times when they seem to be uninterested or seem to be struggling, but I want you all to know that if that happens I will be open and cooperative with you about how to help our girl or boy get back on the education track! Below are just some ideas and dates about how our week is going to be for the first week of school:

**Hands and Feet: This is a signal I use to let the children know that it's time to quiet down and listen to the lesson and instructions. When I say Hands and Feet, Hands and Feet they say Listen and Think, Listen and Think.

Elementary School

Come out and take a tour of the school, bring your children and let them mingle with their peers, allow yourself to mingle with other parents, and get to know the teachers! I look forward to seeing you there!
