M-STEP Results: Grades 4-6
\
As we learn more about our district’s results, we will be able to make decisions that will help improve instruction. These standardized assessments were administered during a unique year of learning. Regardless of whether your child’s scores improved or declined compared to previous years, students will not be affected in a negative way. We use multiple measures to assess students throughout the school year to identify student strengths and areas of need in order to design instruction accordingly.
Please let us know if you have questions about the M-STEP, Michigan’s learning standards, or your child’s progress overall. Fraser Public Schools provides personalized instruction for our students in order to meet each child’s learning needs, and we appreciate your collaboration in that journey.
Lunch Aides Needed!
Lunch aides are needed every M-F. These are paid positions and applicants must be capable of going outside in temperatures above 10 degrees. Interested candidates should contact Mr. Tonn at (586)439-6900 and complete an application HERE. We look forward to hearing from you!

Parking Lot Reminders
- The North lot is NOT a drop-off/ pick-up zone. It is for parking only. We MUST keep the loop open for busses and emergency vehicles. This rule applies to everyone, so please be cooperative and follow it.
- The large, central lot has two lanes: a drop-off/ pick-up lane on the outside of the loop and a driving lane on the inside.
- Please note: Drivers MAY NOT get out of your car while in the outside drop-off/ pick-up lane. Your students must exit to the outside of the loop, and drivers must not exit the car to walk students up or pick them up. If you have younger children who need to be walked up or picked up at the door, you MUST park your car in one of the lots or on the street.
- Smoking and pets are not permitted on school grounds. Please leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of all of our students and families.
Attendance Matters...
Mark Twain Parent Club
As a parent of a Mark Twain Elementary student, you are a valued member of the Mark Twain Parent Club. Our official Facebook group is here: Mark Twain Parent Club. Please help us build the group by sharing with other Twain families and adding them to the group.
If you have a question or concern that you need to be answered, please message a page Admin/Board member.
Contact MTPC: mtparentclub@gmail.com
All parents are welcome to join us. Our next meeting is for our first meeting of the year on Wednesday, October 12th from 6:30-7:30 in the media center.
We had a great turnout for our first meeting of the year.
MTPC Walk-a-Thon
The Mark Twain Parents Club is excited to announce that we will once again be holding our annual walk-a-thon on September 30, 2022! The walk-a-thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year and has the potential of being our only fundraiser of the year. If we do not meet the funded needs, additional fundraisers will be needed, or future MTPC events will need to be cancelled. We want to have a memorable year for our Comets and we hope everyone will participate to make it all happen.
Students are asked to get donations from family, friends, etc. Please make sure your child does not go door-to-door without a parent. If a sponsor donates $100 or more, that sponsor’s name, or business name will be added to SMORES, Parents Club Facebook page, a banner that will be displayed outside the school and will be displayed outside of each classroom. If you prefer not to solicit donations, we ask that you to consider making a family donation to help support our children and school.
All donations must be turned in no later than Monday, September 26th to qualify for classroom parties. All donations must be cash or check. We will take donations up until the day of the event.
As always, we thank you for your support. Please find additional information linked below.
