Message From Our Principal
Hello Bulldogs,
I hope that everyone's second week of school was successful! I'm so happy to see our students being successful with our routines and policies. Our front doorbell is operational and functional! Please remember that when entering the building, the doors will be locked, and the office staff will ask to see your ID before buzzing you into the front office.
A few reminders for everyone to ensure that all students arrive to class on time and safe! Our first bell rings at 7:40 and our tardy bell rings at 7:50. Please ensure that your child comes to school on time and is ready to learn! We will soon begin doing tardy sweeps. If your student is caught in a tardy sweep, they will be required to serve detention.
Please ensure that you are sending your child to school following our dress code. Link for a copy of our dress code is attached for your reference.
Parents please be cautious when driving and follow all state, local, district guidelines while driving and dropping off your student. We do not recommend that you drop your student off on Helen of Troy but use the loop instead. This ensures student safety.
Our afterschool tutoring and clubs will be starting very soon! Our Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball seasons will be starting this week as well. All parents are invited and encouraged to cheer on our athletes!

We are looking for parent volunteers to be part of our 2022-2023 District's School Health Advisory Council
What is SHAC?
The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is an advisory group comprised of individuals who represent segments of the community. The group acts collectively to provide advice to the EPISD on aspects of the school district’s health program. Generally, the members of SHAC are appointed by either the Board of Trustees, PTA, or the Facilitator for Health Education.
SHAC is seeking new members for the upcoming school year. Of importance, increased parent membership is needed. Because the SHAC functions to provide a community voice regarding school health issues it critical that parents become involved. Further, through the collaboration of parents, community members, and EPISD staff SHAC strives to create healthy, safe schools.
For more information, or if you have a parent, student, or community member to recommend, call the EPISD Health Wellness and Physical Education office at 915-230-2216. For more information: https://www.episd.org/Page/606
If you are interested, please contact Patricia at 915-308-2337.
