Newton's first law!!

Last week we examined Newton's 1st law of motion! The kids had the opportunity to visit 12 mini lab stations that demonstrated the law. It was really cool to see the kids put their knowledge into action! The majority of the students could explain exactly what was happening according to the law at each lab station. This week we will look into Newton's 2nd laws with a couple more labs!


AGAIN....If the kids use their class time wisely this week, there should not be much homework. I would appreciate it if parents would take a look through and discuss the last 6-7 pages (up through pg 106) of their INBs with their kids. Again, students can make up or redo anything in my class for a better score!

Student of the week: Keegan P.

Keegan is one of the hardest working and well-mannered students in class. He continuously strives for excellence. The quality of his work ethic is above and beyond my already high classroom expectations. I chose Keegan this week because of ability to work independently and work with others no matter what the situation. He has also been choosing to complete the honors options in class which shows great initiative and work ethic. Even though I call him by his brother's name sometimes, he laughs it off. I'm glad he has a good sense of humor! Always polite to others, he is not only an exemplary student but his demeanor helps set a positive tone for others around him. Keep it up, Keegan!!
