What a great week last week for all of the students! Congrats to all of the band and percussion students on an outstanding concert Tuesday night at WHS!
Huge CONGRATS to the WHS Winter Guards on their finish at the NTCA Bishop Lynch Contest this past Saturday.
The Wakeland JV Color Guard finished in 2nd place in class National A and the Varsity 1st place in Scholastic Open!
On Saturday the TMEA All-State Bands performed at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio. Sebastian Quiroga placed 18th in the state Class 6A Tuba and had a terrific performance with the All-State Concert Band!
Make sure you stay on top of your pass off submissions that due this week and any extra assignments given.
