Continuing Nursing Education Credits
This nursing continuing professional development activity was submitted for approval to New Mexico Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Evaluations and CNE Certificates of Completion
We are online once again with our Event Evaluation and Certificates of Successful Completion. The only way to earn credit and get your Certificate of Successful Completion is to evaluate the sessions you attended and complete the overall evaluation through the online process. You must attend all sessions to get your CNEs. Certificates cannot be printed until Saturday after the conclusion of the conference, and after your attendance has been verified by the conference registrar. Please be sure to complete the process by April 1, 2023.

You will need a username and password to access the on-line evaluation. Your username and password for the on-line evaluation is:

Registered participants will receive an email from Express Evaluations with instructions about the online evaluation process. Instructions will also be emailed to each registered participant and instructions will be given during the conference.
PRESENTERS
Rocio M. Bickel, MA, LPCRocio is graduated UTEP in 2006 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Women’s studies, she obtained a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2016. Rocio has worked at Emergence Health Network since 2008 and has been in a variety of roles ranging from Caseworker to Director of Crisis & Emergency Services, and most recently as a Professional Development Consultant in partnership with the ESC Region 19 where her role is to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders and the impact of trauma in the school communities in the area through the use of evidence-based practices. Rocio is a Licensed Professional Counselor, she is a certified instructor for Mental Health First Aid, Psychological First Aid for Schools, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention curriculums, as well as a Certified Trauma & Resilience Practitioner. | Nicole MoralesNicole Morales is Professional Development Consultant within Leadership and Accountability ESC 19, serving as a consultant in areas such as school counseling, mental and behavioral health, foster care, career & technical education, college/career readiness, and effective advising. She has 19 years in education, of which 13 years have been as a Professional School Counselor. Currently, Nicole also serves as the Publications Chair for the Lone Star State School Counselor Association. | Kim Guerrero, M.Ed Kimberly Guerrero, MEd, is a professional development consultant at the Education Service Center Region 19. She provides support for Mental and Behavioral Health within our rural districts, provides professional development to school counselors and under Title IV, Part A supports physical and psychological safety in schools. This is her 30th year in education and before joining ESC19 she worked as a teacher, special education teacher, school counselor, and administrator. |

Issac Espinosa, SSG, TXARNG JCDTF-DDRO | Alison Days, MDDr. Alison Days did her medical training at Yale University in Connecticut and her residency in New York City and became part of the Texas Tech Department of Pediatrics in the fall of 2002 as part of her commitment to the National Health Service Corps. She remained on the Pediatric faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from 2002-2012. Dr. Alison Days is a board-certified pediatrician now working in solo practice. Dr. Days also holds a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Texas Houston School of Public Health which she received in 2006. She was President of the El Paso County Medical Society in 2020 and was Chief of Staff at El Paso Children’s Hospital from 2018-2020 and was part of the City United COVID-19 Task Force from 2020 to early 2022. |
