Enrichment Opportunity
Attention parents:
Coach Wand will be hosting an enrichment class called "Coach Wand's Let the Games Begin." Sign ups start Monday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. Activities will include games like Crab Soccer, Capture the Flag, The Great Escape, and more. The students will also be able to play games that they aren't able to due to the large class sizes. There are only 50 open spots in each group and the class filled up incredibly fast in the fall (K-2 filled up on the first day and had 12 on the waiting list) so please don't wait if this is something you really want your child to have access to. Again, the sign up date is Monday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. It would be a shame for the class to fill up and some excited kids are left out. Set your alarms! Below is the sign up page (the sign up link will go live at exactly 10:00 am on the 9th) and further information:

Thinking With The End In Mind!
A Message From Ms. Brown
Regular school attendance is essential for a student to make the most of his or her education - to benefit from teacher-led and school activities, to build each day’s learning on the previous day’s, and to grow as an individual. Absences from school may result in serious disruption of a student’s mastery of the instructional materials; therefore, the parent should make every effort for their child to avoid unnecessary absences.
There are two state laws specific to attendance that are of special interest to parents. The first requires the presence of school-aged children (compulsory attendance) and the other affects how the student receives a final grade or grade-level credit. For more information about these laws and the district’s attendance policy, please view pages 31-38 of the Elementary Schools Student Handbook.
Early Pick Up
If you are picking a child up early, you must pick them up before 2:30pm.
Thank you!
