Sanctuary Renovation Information coming soon
In 2013 our church adopted a comprehensive plan for ministry called “The Vision Quest”. One of the points, Facilities Improvement, clearly became a major vision emphasis with our dated building. Among the Facility Improvement goals, was the hope of “designing a more modern Worship Center” (p. 27 vision report).
A Worship Renovation Committee formed in September 2014 and evaluated many proposals. The committee met for eight months and reached consensus around five action items: Functionality, Appearance, Video, Sound, and Theatrical Lighting. Bidding from contractors began and a proposal was brought before the Trustees last February for approval. The vote was unanimous in favor of the renovations. Now we are looking to fund this vision.
Over the next couple of weeks, the committee will be sharing the vision for our worship space. Be sure to be in Sunday School to hear all the details!
