Some Campus Highlights

A NOTE FROM MR. BROWN

Greetings TROJAN Nation,

Wow! We have completed the four six weeks already. Our scholars are showing growth and are working really hard to improve academically. I must admit, school has been a bit challenging this year for all of us, teachers included. Make sure you thank a teacher and remember them during teacher appreciation week.

Parents as we start the fifth six weeks, I ask that you continue to encourage your scholars to work hard, turn in their assignments and do their best. Scholars need to be mindful of arriving to classes on time, remaining on-task while in classrooms and being respectful to adults. It's important we work together as partners to help scholars be successful and reach their maximum potential.

LJH will be STAAR testing in April and May and with all the hard work and intervention we are projected to do very well academically. Despite the pandemic happening around us, we are moving forward with daily high quality instruction in the classroom. We are moving from pandemic to progress now.

To my online learners, continue to login daily, complete all your assignments and check in with teachers if you need assistance.

As always, please reach out to me if you need anything or have any questions: fbrown@cocisd.org.

Sincerely,

Frank Brown
