February Hawk Talk

February Principal Message

February is here and love is in the air! This month starts off with the Chinese Lunar New Year and it is Black History Month. Our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Redgrave, will be leading students through a variety of art projects centered around the Lunar New Year and incredible authors in honor of Black History Month. Make sure to ask your child about the art they are creating. This month we are also working on sharing all of the great things happening on campus through our social media accounts. We are currently on Twitter, @WVUSDmaplehill, and now we are on Instagram, @maplehillhawks. If you are on either of these platforms please follow us to keep up on important events and see pictures of the awesome things happening on campus.

Front Office Update

Two friendly reminders from our front office staff:

1. If your child stays home due to illness please make sure to speak to one of our front office staff members prior to bringing your child to school.

2. Also, please be advised that we have water bottles on campus for students who forget their water bottles. We encourage all students to bring a water bottle with them to school every day, but if they forget it we will supply them with one when they ask.

Unfortunately, we are going to postpone our family skate night. However, we will update you soon on what we have in store for our students!
