IMPORTANT HEALTH REMINDER
In an effort to always keep our students safe and healthy, we are encouraging increased attentiveness to personal hygienic practices and urging staff and students to remain at home if feeling ill or displaying symptoms of severe sickness such as fever, vomiting, body aches or illnesses that last more than a few days. We are seeing a slight increase in illnesses this winter and we are simply reaching out to be proactive to keep ALL our Flashes families healthy this season!
Studies have suggested that transmission of viruses can be contained by *rapid implementation of enhanced hygiene measures* such as WASHING HANDS, effectively disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and avoiding contact between sick and healthy persons. The cooperation of students, faculty, and staff is needed to accomplish this. We also encourage you to talk to your children about proper hand washing & care which will greatly assist with the prevention of illnesses.
Keeping our schools safe can only happen if we work together. Questions and concerns can be directed to any of our school nurses at any time. Thank you for your cooperation!
