Practical Arts Weekly Update
Week of 3/30-4/3
FACS- Mrs. Burton
Mrs. Burton’s FACS classes will be continuing on with the Nutrition & Food Preparation unit. For the next two weeks activities will be themed around food and kitchen safety.
Reminders for Students:
Read the directions very carefully, if clarification is needed please email me (burton.christen@wgcloud.org)
Make sure to “turn in” assignments indicating the assignment is finished and ready to be graded.
FACS- Mrs. Hertlein
Mrs. Hertlein’s FACS classes will continue on with the Foods/Cooking unit. For the week of 4/6, activities will be themed around the Food Network’s “Chopped” cooking competition.
Reminders:
Students need to make sure they READ ALL DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY on both the assignment and turn-in documents
If a student turns in an assignment late, they need to email Mrs. Hertlein and notify her so she can get it graded (hertlein.jill@wgcloud.org)
Shop 1/Shop 2- Mr. Kramer
Tech Ed 1- Mr. Rachal
Students are working on a college spreadsheet where they research 6 colleges. They will have the cost of the college, address, tution, logo or image of the college, and 3 rankings they would like for a college (such as food, distance, cost, etc.)
