PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Pleasant Run Elementary Families:
First off, this Tuesday, November 3rd, Warren Township will have a planned eLearning Day for our students across the district. On this day, your student will complete teacher designed extended learning activities at home.
I wanted to share a few reminders before before Tuesday’s eLearning Day:
- Our Kindergarten through 2nd graders will bring home their teacher designed extended learning activities, so that you are prepared for Tuesday, Nov. 3rd.
- Our 3rd and 4th graders will bring home their charged school issued iPads on Monday, Nov. 2nd so that they can be used to access their work on Tuesday. They will not bring home chargers. Students must bring back their school issued iPads on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
- Also Monday, Nov. 2nd, all of our students will be bringing home a breakfast and lunch meal prepared for them by Chartwells.
On this day, teachers will be available to support our students and families from 9am - 12pm. Please look for communication from your classroom teacher that shares how you can reach them during those hours.
Next, families and Caregivers of Warren Township, students and teachers have completed the first quarter of school for the 2020-2021 school year. We would now like to look back and determine what went well, as well as look ahead to the rest of the school year and identify areas of growth. As a valued partner, we would like your input on how MSD Warren is doing with health and safety measures, communication, and family needs as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey via the link below. The survey window is open from October 19th through November 2nd.

Finally, I know many students and families will be out and about this weekend for a variety of activities. I hope everyone has fun and most importantly, a safe weekend. I look forward to Monday and getting back to the great work that is happening at Pleasant Run Elementary!
Stay Strong, Stay Awesome, Stay Healthy!

VIRTUAL LEARNING
Starting Monday, September 21st full time VIRTUAL K-12 students and ALTERNATING DAY 6-12 students will be required to mark their own attendance in Canvas on days they are not in their school building. Staying active and engaged in each Canvas course is critical for learning and success both short term and long term. Schools and teachers will communicate additional information including sharing tutorials that detail the simple process students will take to mark themselves present for each class period.
