BrightBytes spring technology survey is coming up soon. MDE requires teachers, students, and parents to complete and submit the survey. Please be on the look out for the link!
Have a most relaxing, rejuvenating, and restful spring break. You have all EARNED IT!
If the weather is warm enough, get outside and catch some rays. Get some fresh air, stretch your legs and take a walk. You need to refresh to finish out the school year strong!

Classroom Activities for March!
March is Reading Month! Celebrate & Advocate!
- Create a Book Cover. Have students digitally create a book cover. The project ideas could be adapted for a variety of activities. Book report, autobiographies, author's purpose activity, fiction vs. nonfiction activity.
- Add Color-Coding Informational Text Passages. Have students to digitally color-code answers for daily quick-reads.
- Incorporate Digital Literacy Choice Boards. Use digital choice boards with lots of literacy options.
- Use Mystery Pictures. Students read informational text passages on different topics. Each topic has a picture related to it that is scrambled. Students must answer comprehension questions in order to solve the mystery picture.
