CALLING ALL RESIDENTS INTERESTING IN BECOMING A CANDIDATE FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
As the New Year in Covington Place begins we must turn our attention to the business of managing our community HOA and electing our Board of Directors. This year Claudia Callaway, Keith Campbell and Lynn Atkinson have completed their two-year terms opening three seats on the Board of Directors. These seats will be filled with an election on February 16, 2016.
.
Claudia, Keith and Lynn will be greatly missed. They have worked hard on their assignments and have served their neighbors well. But with change comes opportunity. New faces on the Board of Directors will bring energy, enthusiasm and a fresh perspective. We ask that capable, practical, common sense people offer themselves for election to the Board of Directors.
.
Experience in business, accounting, real estate, legal affairs and local government would be an asset, but is not mandatory. We are looking for anyone who has a genuine interest in our community to come and join the Board as we work to preserve the quality of life here in Covington Place. If you are looking for interesting community service or if you would like to improve the way our community operates we ask that you consider running for election to the Board of Directors.
.
You can submit your name by sending an email to perrifuto@charter.net Include your name, address and your phone number, a brief description of your qualifications, and a recent headshot (photo in JPEG format). A member of the Board of Directors will contact you to confirm your nomination.
