HERITAGE GOOD NEWS
Hello Heritage Families and Friends!
This page is dedicated to the Good News that is happening in the lives of our Heritage students. We miss our normal routine and can't wait to be together again! Until then, let's spread some good news and help keep smiles on the faces of our precious students!
Please send your HGN to katie_thielman@plsd.us with a brief description. Please make sure photos are formatted in JPEG, PNG, BMP, or GIF.
We can't wait to hear from you!
Virtual Bowling Birthday Party!
Our friend Allie turned 7! She celebrated her birthday with a family Wii bowling tournament and feasted on KFC!
What if my mom IS the teacher?!
For kindergarten student, Remi, she is all business when working beside Heritage's Gifted Intervention Specialist, Mrs. Branson (her mom!)
However, math is fun as seen below. Mrs. Branson introduced a new math game in her Google hangout!
Three Peas in a Pod!
Heritage students and siblings (Autumn, Marshall, & Meredith) are making quarantine life look like a breeze! Keep Calm and Keep Smiling!
4th Grade SING!
Here are some moments to look back on. Fourth grade students from all over the district participated in the 2nd annual SING!
Mrs. Bussom's Leaders of the Week
Whether it be making a real-life connection to writing; sharing their work; making Earth day cookies; practicing recycling and building a home compost, staying physically and emotional fit with their breathing exercises; working hard on their I-ready online learning; hanging out with their teacher in Google Hangouts; hanging with classmates and therapy dogs for online storytime; listening to Mrs. Bussom's own children read to them or just cozying up themselves to a great book at home- these Kinders are working hard at being great leaders and taking ownership of their learning! I couldn't be more proud of all my students and I miss them very much!
Where in Pickerington?
Mrs. Thielman has been taking long walks in the evenings and she has captured pictures of the beautiful sights around town. Take a look at the pictures and see if you know where she has been!
Smile With A Mask
When our students see us, we may look a little different. Not to worry, we are the same with or without a mask. Please know we are still giving them a great big smile all the time!
